February 11, 2012 - Please join us for a meeting of the Downstate Delaware Genealogical Society on Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Delaware Public Archives, 121 Duke of York Street, Dover, Delaware.  Our speaker will be Donna Auiles  who will speak on "Orphan Trains."

April 14, 2012 - Please join us for a meeting of the Downstate Delaware Genealogical Society on Saturday, April 14, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Delaware Public Archives. Our speaker will be Michael Dizon who will speak on "Unlocking the History of an Old House."

June 9, 2012 - Please join us for a meeting of the Downstate Delaware Genealogical Society on Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Delaware Public Archives.  Our program will be devoted to helping resolve "brick walls" encountered in familiy research.  This meeting is also DDGS' annual meeting with election of officers.

Tombstones of Sussex County - Volumes I, II, & III are available for purchase. The cost for Volumes I & II is $30 per volume plus $7.50 for shipping and handling per volume. The cost for Volume III is $35 plus $7.50 for shipping and handling. 

If Volume I, II, and III are purchased together as a set, the cost is $85 plus $7.50 per volume for shipping and handling (totaling $22.50 for set of 3). DDGS members receive a 10% discount for purchases.
